TURNING WORLDS’ new project is aimed at the over 50s, Taking Turns and inspired by the growing recognition that social dancing is one of the best prescriptions you can be given for a healthy and happy body and mind. The project takes turns between participating and performing, different age groups and performance styles, reflecting and doing.
Understanding the enduring benefits for self and society of regular movement activities, the Taking Turns project has resulted from consultations with Baldock’s Amber Health, who seek local movement workshops that can provide next step opportunities for patients needing to gain strength, confidence and fitness post treatment.
The accessible to all workshops are proudly offered in the beautifully renovated Baldock Arts and Heritage Centre at The Old Town Hall, SG7 6AR Tuesdays 7-8.30pm during term times.
