TURNING WORLDS’ current project, Taking Turns builds on extensive experience of creative feedback loops to grow cultural organisms. Neuroscience tells us that through our mirror neurons, social physical engagement in response to others evolves mutual empathy, language and mind. Taking Turns engages older people in participatory and performative dance theatre activity in a climate where GP social prescribing offers new opportunities for arts impact on mental, physical and community health, and in making visible the individuals that make communities. Supported by the National Lottery and in partnership with Duckie, Amber Health, and the Baldock Arts & Heritage Centre.

Following on from weekly workshops at Baldock Arts & Heritage Centre February – July, and performances at Ashwell WI, At Home, Baldock Arts Festival and Duckie Posh Clubs in Hastings, Crawley and Hove, Taylor and Turner will show and tell at Body IQ Festival, Berlin 11/19.
